Online Notetaker Application

Eligibility Requirements

Notetaking Assistants must be:
  • A current Bowdoin College student enrolled in the course.
  • Regularly attend the course (and arrange for a substitute whenever absent)
  • Able to take legible, comprehensive and accurate notes for all components of the course.
  • Able to upload (to the AIM Portal) all notes (either typed or scans/photos of handwritten notes) for the course within 24 hours of the completion of the class. Uploading on the same day as the course meeting is preferred to ensure equal access to class materials for students with disabilities.


There are many different styles of notetaking, it’s important for your success as a notetaker (and throughout your college career) to find one that works for you.
Step 1: Specify Login Information
  1. Hint: Enter 7 alpha numeric characters.
  2. Important Note: Please make sure this username matches with your Single Sign-On (SSO) username in your school.
  3. Please enter email address that ends in @bowdoin.edu, for example: yourusername@bowdoin.edu.
