Online Notetaker Application

Eligibility Requirements

Do not fill out this application if you have already been a note-taker before.
Go to ULINK- Academics- Upload notes on Disability Services Portal.


New Notetakers: Fill out the below information to create an account.

You will not log in again after you complete the account. Check your email- you will receive an email with a link to add your classes


Use must use your UL credentials/email to complete the application.

Example: (UL ID and Username will be the same)
School ID: C00000000
Username: C00000000
Email Address: C00000000@louisiana.edu

You must be currently enrolled and in the specific section of the course for which you will be volunteering to take notes.

Applying to be a peer note-taker requires several steps:

1. Fill out the application
2. Input only the course numbers (CRNS) of classes that you will agree to take notes.

If you are matched with a student who needs notes:

3. You will receive an email in your UL email that you have been matched to a course.
4. You will need to confirm that you will take notes in this email within 5 days or someone else will be assigned.
4. Begin uploading notes at least once per week.

*Please note that you will not receive priority registration if all the steps are not completed.
Step 1: Specify Login Information
  1. Hint: Enter 9 alpha numeric characters.
  2. Important Note: Please make sure this username matches with your Single Sign-On (SSO) username in your school.
  3. Please enter email address that ends in @louisiana.edu, for example: yourusername@louisiana.edu.
